System accounts in the advanced section of a configuration are from a local machine instead of from the domain.

Applies To:

AESS 5.0 Build 1002.1018 or earlier.

Conditions / Symptoms

Selecting additional accounts to add to users file folder permissions would only allow you to select from accounts that were local to the server if the server was not also the primary domain controller.  After giving these accounts full permissions on a users file folder, they would appear as unknown accounts in the file folder properties.

Issue / Cause

The additional accounts were not being retrieved from the domain controller for the domain.

Work Around / Fix

To correct this, download and install the latest version of Attachment Executive Server Side 5.0.  The latest version ensures that additional accounts are always retrieved from the primary domain controller.
