Conditions / Symptoms

When attempting to use the Directory Assistant web pages by entering an http address in Internet Explorer to the  "DAMain.asp" page, Internet Explorer reports "Page could not be displayed".

When accessing the page "DASuccess.asp" by entering an http address in Internet Explorer, the page is displayed without errors.

Issue / Cause

Directory Assistant uses the "session" feature in Internet Explorer in order to keep track of information about the changes a user is making throughout the request process.  If Internet Information Server has been configured to not allow session information, the web pages will not function properly.
