Forget about scripting!  There's no programming required or any complicated process to learn to use Directory Mate.  Following Microsoft's lead, MADSolutions has made importing and exporting directory information easy using a step by step wizard.

Using a wizard makes Directory Mate a quick and simple way for administrators to create large numbers of users.  Administrators can literally mailbox enable multiple users within a few minutes!  If you're used to importing and exporting information from your Exchange Directory in versions 4, 5 and 5.5, you will find Directory Mate even easier to use the the Exchange Import/Export ever was.

Directory Mate 2007 has 4 Main features:

1. Create a Header File so you can create many users by entering information into an Excel spreadsheet and save it as a CSV file.

2. Do an Export of the information you're looking for.  This is very useful if you need to modify large quantities of data or need to collect specific data from different departments to re-enter into your Active Directory.  (*Tip: If you export data and need someone else to fill it out, hide columns, lock/unlock cells and protect the excel workbook.  This way you ensure you get only the data back that you want without any modification to your original core data required for importing.)

3. Import Data into your Active Directory and make all the changes you want in the blink of an eye!

4. Ability to run imports or exports via a command line manually or schedule them using the Windows AT command.
