Failure to process Public
Folders. Possibly due to Access Denied on the public
folder.

Conditions / Symptoms
When the MADSolutions Public Folder Service attempts to process a public folder, errors processing
the configurations occur.
Issue / Cause
When the MADSPF Service processes E-mail Policies, it requires
full access to the objects it is opening. Even with the
Exchange Service Account permissions, the public folders may
still be inaccessible.
To process a public folder, the MADSPF Service requires
Publishing Editor permissions or Owner permissions on the public
folders.
Work Around / Fix
To correct this problem, use a utility
such as PFAdmin found in Back Office Resource Kit to quickly and
easily give the MADSPF Mailbox permissions on the public
folders you wish to purchase.
