Memory usage of the Microsoft Information Store could grow to a high amount.

Conditions / Symptoms

While the MADSolutions E-mail Management Server Services are processing a mailbox, the memory usage of the Microsoft Information Store process might grow excessively.  The memory usage would then drop once a mailbox was finished being processed. 

Issue / Cause

Memory used by the Information Store process was not freed until after a mailbox and all of its associated objects were closed.  The Exchange Information Store will always attempt to take as much memory as possible.  This is by design.  Please consulting Microsoft's Knowledge base for more information about Information Store memory consumption.

Work Around / Fix

E-mail Management Server has built in memory and cpu utilization monitoring.  Excess memory usage should not occur with E-mail Management Server Services.  If memory utilization is high on the MADSolutions services, please contact Support@MADSolutions.com.
