corporations, where PST, Mailbox and Public Folder
utilization is moderate to high and critical to business

Edition takes them to the next level of E-mail
Management by enabling them to consolidate data stored
on multiple servers, with multiple storage groups and in
multiple databases into a single share repository.
Decentralized and/or centralized collaborative
simplified administration is achieved through the use of
the Enterprise Master Service thus
reducing overall total cost of ownership by streamlining
administrative tasks. E-mail Management Server
Enterprise Edition provides a powerful
e-mail management solution along with a robust storage
management solution. The end result is the ability to
manage the size of message stores and truly remove the
constraints on the number of users that a single server
can effectively manage. Built on and utilizing reliable
Microsoft technologies, the Enterprise Edition is the ultimate in E-mail Management. |
|
• |
Microsoft Management Console.
A standard Microsoft administrative interface using a
MMC snap-in for E-mail Management Server makes using the
software seem like second nature to administrators. |
|
• |
Wizard Based Actions.
Perform all actions quickly and simply through easy to
use Wizards that walk you through the steps needed to
perform desired action(s). |
|
• |
Quick Easy Access Online Help.
Online HTML help files are available on every MMC node
displayed in the left hand pane. Help buttons for each
wizard page display relevant information to the task at

|
• |
Service Throttling Intelligence.
Services monitor CPU and RAM utilization to throttle back usage
during processing when necessary. Services
automatically notify administrators when server CPU and
RAM utilization remain high thus preventing E-mail
Management Server from running its scheduled tasks. |
|
• |
Flexible configuration. Completely customize E-mail Policies to examine or process messages
and attachments by creating one or more rules. These
rules allow administrators to define through a
comprehensive list of conditions and exceptions which
messages or attachments to handle. A list of actions
can then be taken to record information only, copy, move
or delete messages and attachments. Complete
customization of rules provides extraordinary
flexibility to the software. |
|
• |
Process Tracking.
Every time E-mail Management Server examines an e-mail
message, information about having done so can be tracked
through logging and reports. Moreover a history of
messages or attachments moved, deleted or copied can be
recorded in a database for future reference. |
