Directory Assistant - System Requirements
Ensure scheduled email maintenance and keep directory information up to date.
Active Directory Versions:
Windows Server 2003 Active Directory (any service pack level); or
Windows Server 2008 Active Directory (any service pack level); or
Windows Server 2008 R2 Active Directory (any service pack level)
Exchange 2003 (any service pack level); or
Exchange 2007 (any service pack level)*; or
Exchange 2010 (any service pack level)*
Administration workstation:
Operating System: Windows Vista or Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit)
Applications: Outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010 (32 bit version only) *Office 64-bit is not supported
Administration Terminal Server:
Operating System: Windows Server 2003, 2008, or 2008 R2 (32 or 64 bit)
Applications: Outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010 (32 bit version only) *Office 64-bit is not supported

Location for MADSolutions Directory Assistant services:
It is recommended that the MADSolutions Directory Assistant services are installed on the web server where the MADSolutions Directory Assistant web pages are. This will help to minimize network traffic when users request updates to their directory information. To run the services you will need to install the MAPI/CDO component from Microsoft.
