Geisel Envisioning International Ltd. (MADSolutions) takes the privacy of its customers very seriously and is committed to the protection of the privacy of the users of: MADSolutions.com; MADSolutions.ca; and, Geisel.ca. This page summarizes the privacy policy and practices on these websites.
The MADSolutions website does not automatically gather any specific personal information from you, except:
- to the extent that your web browser provides information to our web server, such as the site your linked from, the identity of your internet service provider, or the type of browser you are using; and,
- to the extent that you provide information to us in an email message or by filling out a form on the MADSolutions web site. Specific collection areas of this web site are outlined below.
All personal information held or collected is protected under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our accounts management personnel or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees use password-protected computers. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. If at any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and reminded about the importance we place on privacy and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected. Servers that store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment, behind code and key locked doors. We may use this information from time-to-time to contact you about service updates, changes to our systems and procedures. This information is kept for as long as Geisel Envisioning International Ltd. is in business and it is stored at our head office in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. We protect all personal information in our custody with strong security safeguards, including strict access controls.
In order to request more information, a user may complete our Comment/Feedback form. The user may be required to give their contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest. This information will not be sold, rented or given to any third party.
Documents specified above do not include the design or layout of the MADSolutions.com, MADSolutions.ca or Geisel.ca web site or any other Geisel Envisioning International Ltd. owned, operated, licensed or controlled site. Elements of Geisel Envisioning International Ltd. web sites are protected by trade dress and other laws and may not be copied or imitated in whole or in part. No logo, graphic, sound or image from any Geisel Envisioning International Ltd. web site may be copied or retransmitted unless expressly permitted by Geisel Envisioning International Ltd..
Cookies are small data files that some web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information, such as a user ID, that the site uses to track the pages you have visited, thereby noting your personal preferences regarding your use of that site. The only personal information a cookie can contain is the information you supply yourself. We may occasionally use "cookies" to track how our visitors use this site or to determine sites previously visited. The cookies we use do not allow us to identify individuals.
MADSolutions employs software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. This software receives and records the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer that has communicated with servers hosting our web site, the date and time of the visit and the pages visited. We make no attempt to link these addresses with the identity of individuals visiting our site unless an attempt to damage the site has been detected.
We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
In the event that a third party is used to assist MADSolutions and personal information is provided to that third party to achieve its task, MADSolutions will take all efforts to ensure that the third party is PIPEDA compliant. MADSolutions will have on file any third parties privacy policy and provide MADSolutions' privacy policy to said party. A likely third party may be a shipping company to ship orders and a credit card processing company to collect credit card payments. These companies do not share any personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
If a user's personally identifiable information changes, or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us. Emailing or phoning any one of our Customer Support representatives will be able to accomplish this.
Users to the MADSolutions.com website who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials may opt-out of receiving these communications by requesting removal at anytime. Those who have provided us with their information have been deemed to provide consent as 'opt-in' for communications by MADSolutions.
